    J.Crew’s Montauk Tote Bag

Something shifted within me when I took my (now) six-month-old son to Montauk for Mother’s Day. I felt the mayhem, briskness, and overwhelm of New York shrivel in the distance, and in its place was a languid, unhurried, and patient East Coast mother who had her tote bag (strategically), messily filled with just-enough-of-everything. This aptly named tote came with me on our five-day trip and became the carryall of all carryalls. Since returning to Brooklyn, I take it with me on stroller walks, weekend coffee dates, and shopping trips, hoping it will continue to conjure the calm I had out East. So far it has. — Cortne Bonilla, senior shopping writer.

    Dôen’s White Minidress

In T-minus two weeks, I’ll be by the beach—feet in the sand, salt on my skin. As my packing list slowly comes together, one thing I’m bringing for certain is a little white dress. Dôen is my first port of call for romantic cotton minis with a vintage feel; the California label has some of the very best ones, many of which are just shy of $300. Over a bikini in the morning, or with sandals and a tiny tote at night, it’s what vacation dressing is meant to be: sweet and carefree. —Talia Abbas, shopping director.

Summer isn’t complete without a straw bag; Muuñ’s feels like a total gem for less than $250. Spacious enough for the city and weekend escapes alike, the drawstring closure keeps everything secure, and the shape fits all my essentials (and then some). Handwoven in Ghana and finished in France, it’s an elegant woven bag that’ll elevate any look—essentially, the perfect summer carryall. —Andrea Zendejas, shopping market editor

When summer emerges, so do a flurry of summer jewelry brands who have a distinct point of view and add a touch of personality and uniqueness to your wardrobe. Julietta is one of those labels—they manage to be something to everyone without loosing its identity; from onyx necklaces, statement shells and this turquoise stone necklace, its pieces are proof a small statement goes along way. Leset Arielle City Shorts

I never thought I could pull off Bermuda shorts at 5’2”—in my mind, you had to be tall to wear them. And so, for as long as I can remember, I’ve steered clear of anything knee-length; there was no happy medium between mini or midi. What drew me to Leset’s black Bermuda shorts one recent Saturday in the West Village I can’t quite say; likely, a mix of joyous optimism and the chance desire to step out of my comfort zone and try something unexpected. I loved everything about them from the moment I put them on: the effortless pull-on silhouette, the seamless crepe fabric, and, to my greatest surprise, the length. They hit me just below the knee when worn on the natural waist, and since they don’t have pleats, flare out in the most flattering way. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve worn them in the weeks since buying them—I’m only half joking when I say it might be a problem. I’ve yet to find a more perfect summer short. —Talia Abbas, shopping director

    Chan Luu Taffeta Barrel Pants

Chan Luu’s taffeta pants were a favorite of mine the moment I first tried them. The subtle sheen perks up the simplest of outfits, adding just the right amount of dressed-up without trying too hard. They also work around the clock: polished for the office with a button-down, easy for a farmers’ market run with a tank, and perfect for vacation over a one-piece swimsuit or a billowy top. At $275, they’re the kind of investment that quickly earns its keep. I’ve been reaching for mine non-stop and constantly get asked about where they’re from. Havaianas x Isabel Marant Sandals

Few footwear styles capture the carefree spirit of summer quite like the flip-flop—long loved for its ease, versatility, and unfussy cool. And the brand best known for them? That would be Havaianas, of course. Whether styled with a white tee and jeans à la Hailey Bieber or paired with a string bikini and sarong for sandy beach days ahead, the warm-weather staple has become a favorite among fashion people and designers alike. Last week, Isabel Marant and Havaianas unveiled their inaugural summer collaboration: four flip-flop styles ranging from tie-dyed pairs to studded sandals. To say they sold out instantly would be an understatement. Luckily, I was able to snag this pink and red tie-dye pair from Shopbop. Unlikely to stay in stock for much long, add them to your cart now and your summer capsule wardrobe will instantly feel cooler. In other words? Alex Mill’s Perfect Weekend Tote

I’ve waxed poetic about my Alex Mill weekender more times than I can count; ahead of the long weekend, it feels fitting to do so again. I’ll preface with this: this is not your ordinary canvas tote. To me, it’s really a giant nesting doll. It’s amusingly bigger than I am, but fits everything I need and then some—laptop, lunch, snacks, a deceivingly heavy hardcover, possibly a small handbag, highly likely an extra pair of shoes. I never travel without it, and when it’s not perched on my carry-on, I sling it over my shoulder. The straps are long, but not too long—just right. I have it in black and in canvas, but there’s always room for one more. The name says it all: it really is the Perfect Weekend Tote. —Talia Abbas, shopping director

Lesse x Lié Studio Lip Balm Pendant

Rhode’s lip gloss phone case was a stroke of genius—this is the fashion girl alternative. On the FW26 Runways we saw designers finally answering our plea for a handbag-free life with a myriad of functional accessories hung around the neck or hanging from belt loops. The trend continues with Lié Studio’s Lesse collaboration, which answers all my “where is my lip balm” problems in one single chic package. For $125, you get a top stitched crafted leather lip balm holder that will elevate any outfit (wear it around the neck or loop it around the handle of your favorite handbag to avoid it getting lost inside) and a lip balm from Lesse which I have been swearing by for its understated packaging and soothing qualities. —Libby Jane Page, executive shopping director

    Polo Ralph Lauren Bomber Jacket

Blouson jackets—the sort that feel plucked straight from your grandfather’s closet—are having a moment. Or at least, that’s how it feels to me. My own grandfather, a devoted golfer, wore his every Sunday on the course, and I can still picture him in it. Now, the silhouette is making a quiet but confident return. During fashion week, Karla Martinez, Head of Editorial Content at Vogue Mexico, wore a striking red version by Ralph Lauren that promptly sold out. Consider it the ideal transitional layer—equally at ease with denim, tailored trousers, or even a slip skirt. Somehow, it always works. —Andrea Zendejas, shopping market editor

If you ask me, a pendant is the finishing touch every outfit needs—season- and occasion-less, it always look just right. Ask any Vogue Shopping editor and they’ll confirm their love for the accessory, particularly this Hunting Season pendant, which has smooth tagua seeds strung onto an adjustable leather cord. Four of my colleagues own one, each in a different color. I’ve seen them style theirs with T-shirts, dresses, and tailoring—it really does work with everything. Tory Burch Runway Wrap Sunglasses

There were three accessories from Tory Burch’s spring show that I keep coming back to: the handwoven net totes, the beaded shell pendants, and the futuristic shield sunglasses. The latter—a sort of 2001: Space Odyssey-meets-The Matrix goggle—is exactly the shape we’re seeing having a major moment. They looked great on the runway, even better on. Puma Speedcat Ballet Sneakers

Everyone at the office knows I love a good flat shoe. Spring’s latest sneaker trend is the sneakerina, a hybrid between the sneaker and ballet flat (my two favorite shoe styles) and Puma has one for just under $100 so you can get in on the trend without breaking the bank. Style it with denim or wear it as you would a ballet flat without any of the discomfort of a flat-soled shoe because all Puma sneakers come with Ortholite for extra cushioning. A.Emery Kinto Leather Flip-Flops

I remember the first time I came across the A.Emery Kinto leather thong sandals. It was February 2024 and I purchased the chocolate brown pair instantly on a whim for a weekend jaunt I was taking to Jamaica. It’s easy to be impulsive when the price and style is right—they were $140. I’ve always been a fan of the flip-flop but had never spent more than $100 on a pair. (You’d be surprised to learn the humble thong can go for well over $700 from designer brands.) This take from Australian-based brand A.Emery offers the casual silhouette in an elevated array of neutral-dyed leathers for under $200. I had a difficult time choosing one color, so when summer rolled around, I used it as an opportunity to purchase a second pair in white and wore them both on rotation all season long. Their understated, but not super fashion-forward look, contributes to their versatility and wearability, while their slim silhouette makes them incredibly easy to pack in your weekender or carry on. Not to mention, they’re comfortable. No blisters or in-between toe irritation from these. Two years later, they’re still my most worn summer shoe and the conditions remained intact despite tons of wear, from the sands of the Mediterranean to the streets of New York, Copenhagen, and beyond. Keds’s Champion Point Leather Lace Ups

White sneakers may be nothing new, but they feel fresher than ever this spring. Keds’s little leather lace-ups (one of the originals!) are a simple and chic option for anyone keen on adding a white derby to their shoe collection, which thanks to Michael Rider’s at Celine, is seeing renewed popularity this season. Keds’s leather lace-ups possess the same kind of refined ease and versatility as any of the pricier options out there, however, at under $100, they aren’t shoes where you need to sweat the scuffs. Not to mention, they’re a low-stakes way into the 2026 shoe trend to see if the style is really for you. —Andrea Zendejas, shopping market editor

    Citizens of Humanity’s Colorful Denim

Bold color is one of spring 2026’s loudest trends—we’ve saw it first as cool color-blocking on the runway (Jil Sander, Prada) then spun off to the street style set (from Vogue’s Chloe Malle to fashion fixture Jalil Johnson) where the season’s standout shades vied for attention: cobalt blue, royal purple, chartreuse, and cherry red.

Not one to typically stray from my roster of neutrals—or go all in on a head-to-toe color moment—I’ve been easing into the trend by way of colorful denim. Luckily, both the spring runways and contemporary brands have made the case. From Chloé’s lilac pastel jeans to pale pink pairs from Agolde’s collaboration with New York-based label Maria McManus, and even Slvrlake’s butter-yellow barrel legs (which I shamelessly pre-ordered months ago from Moda Operandi), the options are as varied as they are compelling.

    Toteme’s Little Black Dress

Known for its effortlessly chic sensibility, Toteme bridges New York’s on-the-go attitude with Stockholm’s studied restraint—making it a go-to for the kind of essentials that work overtime in your wardrobe. This spring, it’s their little black dresses that caught my eye: clean, unfussy, and endlessly wearable. The appeal lies in its simplicity. Streamlined yet polished, it’s the kind of piece that moves seamlessly from day to night with infinite styling potential—worn with ballet flats and a sweater draped over the shoulders by day, then finished with a red lip and statement earrings for after hours. The pleated, swingy silhouette, with its subtle nod to CBK’s pared-back uniform, feels especially of the moment, and priced just under $300, making it a wardrobe investment without the splurge. Minimal, versatile, and quietly refined, it’s the kind of dress you’ll reach for on repeat. —Minty Mellon, shopping market editor

    Merlette Lyra Pouch

Most of us know Merlette for its dresses: elegant and airy cotton styles that make stepping out in the summer heat not just tolerable, but downright enjoyable. On a recent visit to the brand’s New York City showroom, I discovered its edit of handbags—intricately beaded and sequined styles in an array of shades (black, navy, candy red, and daffodil yellow), all under $300. Their handcrafted charm caught my eye, and the embellished Lyra and Deco styles quickly stood out as two personal favorites. One for day, one for evening, both fitting companions for either scenario. I have a soft spot for decorative pouches, but Merlette’s only appear small in size: A phone tucks in neatly, along with a sundry of other personal necessities. If you wanted proof of its versatility—at the moment of publish—I have the Lyra pouch perched on my desk. Life’s too short to always carry a tote. —Talia Abbas, shopping director

    Guest in Residence’s Relay Polo

Spring dressing is defined by thoughtful layers—and few brands balance practicality with polish quite like Gigi Hadid’s, Guest in Residence. I discovered the knitwear label at its launch in 2022, instantly drawn to its vibrant lineup of cashmere crewnecks and sporty striped polos. What makes Hadid’s designs so compelling is their balance: timeless yet trend-aware, luxurious yet still within reach. Several of the brand’s standout pieces surprisingly fall under-$300—like this Relay polo, which gets at the preppy-with-a-twist references we’ve been seeing on the runways (Prada, Miu Miu, Saint Laurent).

Lightweight but still substantial for a windy day, it’s tailor-made for in-between transitional dressing: worn over a crisp button-up now, styled solo underneath a trench on brisk morning commutes, or shrugged across bare shoulders later. Speaking of later—I can even see it tossed over a simple string bikini come peak summer. I love how the sleeves’ stipples and stripes subtly nod to the label’s rugby roots, while the saturated colorways—cobalt blue chief among them—feel distinctly of the moment. At $295, it’s the kind of polished, preppy staple that earns its place in the “feels like a steal” category—proof that exceptional style doesn’t require a four-figure price tag. —Laura Lillian Jackson Nalle, contributing editor

    Valesque’s Nylon Satin Tote

There’s something appealing about a bag that embraces simplicity—no flashy hardware, no attention-seeking logo, just a sleek, inconspicuous design centered around quiet practicality. It’s exactly what draws me to Valesque’s leather-trimmed tote. Constructed from a durable satin nylon, it’s a bag that reveals its appeal over time rather than at first glance: Free from distracting frills and in a neutral color palette, it’s easy to style for everyday—with long thin straps that slip seamlessly over any coat. I particularly love the small size, featuring thoughtful compartments to keep my essentials (wallet, keys, phone, hand sanitizer, and lipstick) in order, though, I’d argue that nearly every single bag in their collection feels like a steal, priced around $265. Elevated and functional, it’s an accessible luxury perfect for moving between appointments, coffee runs, errands, and everything in between. Net-a-Porter recently began stocking the label, first founded in 2023 by Valeska Dütsch and Sophie Berianidze, and, let me tell you—the bags have moved quickly. (At the time of publishing, few appear to available on their own site). Kallmeyer’s Striped Tees

There are many brands who set out to perfect the T-shirt. It’s not an easy mantle to take on—it’s one of fashion’s elusive white whales. How high should the neck sit? How boxy can you go without losing shape? Do you leave room for a tuck? (Preferably, yes.) While there’s much I desire from Kallmeyer, my first brush with the label came by way of its striped tees that exist in a rotating cast of colors that make for collector’s gold. Seeing them styled together in a Z-Boys-meets-Tribeca-mom kind of way rewired my brain a little: There’s a delicate balance between Parisian cliché and artful design, and founder Daniella treads it expertly. The Wynn is a personal favorite, for both layering under sweaters and wrapping around the waist. The sleeves are generous, but not too long or roomy; the collar sits neatly above the collarbone, without feeling restricting. Above all, it’s so soft. At $135 for the short sleeve, and $145 for the long, it’s a hair above what I might normally spend on a wardrobe basic… but it’s everything I want in a T-shirt and nothing I don’t. And for a slice of Daniella’s world, my parting line is clear: it feels like a total steal. —Talia Abbas, shopping director

    Comme Si’s La Classica Shirt

You might be familiar with Comme Si’s most pleasing, colorful socks that launched the brand into the fashion sphere back in 2019. While the prices for these covetable but everyday staples inch towards the higher end of what the average consumer might be willing to spend on a humble basic, the shirting developed by the label sits at a price point that falls right under the $300 sweet spot. What sets these crisp button-down shirts apart from comparable high-street essentials labels is that they’re made in Italy from 100% Italian cotton poplin and finished with delicate mother of pearl buttons. Small but mighty details in both the design and construction, like the box pleat and back yoke of the shirt, make it a cut above the rest of your standard button-downs. The fit is generous; roomy in shape while still fitting true to the shoulder, but nothing you’d call oversize. It’s a cut that makes styling both tucked in or worn out achievable. My personal favorite of the lineup? The “Grecian” blue. To me it’s that perfect traditional blue you’d find in menswear tailoring, reminiscent of an old women’s shirt I once saw by The Row. It wouldn’t be Comme Si if the shirt didn’t come in a rainbow of hues, to suit various wardrobe needs, from classic white to maraschino cherry red and pale pinks.
