Nich Fugal Revives Old-School Hardware Store Rotating Parts Bins

Years ago we swooned over these antique hardware store rotating parts bins. They were common in the 19th century, but gradually disappeared in the 20th.Now the design’s been brought back by mechanical engineer Nich Fugal. Here’s his 3D-printed Gridfinity Carousel:”It can either be wall mounted via a French Cleat or set on a workbench,” he writes. “The model features two leaf springs that detent into the main wheels to hold the carousel in position.
